What is equivalency for those that have taught an Additional Qualification (AQ) course?

Equivalency is when you are granted a qualification based on your acceptable:

• coursework in education completed outside of Ontario

  OR

• experience from teaching an accredited or approved program leading to an additional qualification course.

Courses taught outside of Ontario must:

• have been taught at an approved education provider at the time when the course or program was taught
• align with the College’s qualification guideline for which equivalent standing is being requested.
