What is equivalency for those that have taught an Additional Qualification (AQ) course?

Equivalency is when a qualification is granted based on either acceptable:

• coursework in education, completed outside of Ontario, or
• experience from teaching an accredited or approved program leading to an additional qualification course.

For courses taught outside of Ontario, the program/course must have:

• Been taught at an approved education provider at the time when the course / program was taught
• align with the qualification guideline developed by the College for which equivalent standing is being requested.
