What's required for me to teach technological subjects?
- To teach technological studies, you must have:
- an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- completed four semesters of teacher education coursework in an acceptable teacher education program; and either:
proof of competence and five years of work experience in the area of technological studies corresponding to the teacher education program completed.
OR
- a combination of work experience and post-secondary education (total of five years). Any combination must include at least two years of work experience with continuous employment of no less than four months.
