What's required to teach technological subjects?

Teachers of technological studies must have:

• an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent;
• completed four semesters of teacher education coursework in an acceptable teacher education program; and
• proof of competence and five years of work experience in the area of tech studies corresponding to the teacher education program completed

OR

• a combination of work experience and postsecondary education. Any combination must include at least two years of work experience with continuous employment of no less than four months.
