What data will the survey collect?

The College’s mandate is enshrined in provincial legislation. Accordingly, we will only collect data that is aligned with that mandate and relevant to analysis of Ontario’s current and future teacher supply.

Data that is considered relevant and aligned with our mandate includes:

• Mobility and willingness to relocate
• Demographics and geography
• Educational background

Data that is not considered relevant or aligned with our mandate includes:

• Job satisfaction and classroom conditions
• Compensation
• Curriculum
