What will be on the MPT and how do I pass it?

The MPT has two sections:

1. The mathematics curriculum section, relating to the Ontario mathematics curriculum for Grades 3 to 9, comprises at least 70 per cent of the MPT.
2. The pedagogy section comprises the remainder of the MPT.

All applicants must achieve a mark of 70 per cent or higher in each of the MPT’s two sections to successfully pass it.
