Do members need to get a lawyer for their hearing?
No, a member does not need to retain a lawyer and can be self-represented. If the member chooses to represent themselves, they can consult the FAQ resources for more information about the hearing process. Tribunals’ staff and Independent Legal Counsel cannot provide any legal advice to members.
