Who can sign the statement of successful teaching experience?
Statements of successful teaching experience (SOSTE) must by signed by an academic supervisory officer or supervisory official. More details about the appropriate signatory can be found on the Statement of Successful Teaching Experience form. However, in exceptional cases where it is difficult to obtain an appropriately signed SOSTE form (for example, a supervisory officer is not available), the College may accept:
- a letter or SOSTE form signed by a Principal, provided the signatory was the principal when you acquired the experience
- a letter or SOSTE form that was previously submitted to the College or a provider of additional qualification courses
