What supports will be available to people who may be personally impacted by taking this Program?
First and foremost, the Program’s objective is to improve student safety. However, it is understood that this is a very sensitive issue that may cause discomfort for some. The Program includes appropriate content warnings as well as contact information for crisis centres should they be required.
Before taking the Program, individuals are encouraged to consider the best way for them to complete it. Factors to consider are:
- Whether it would be preferable to complete it alone, in a group, or with a trusted person.
- Whether it would be preferable to complete it all at once or in multiple sessions with breaks between modules.
- Whether it would be preferable to complete it without listening to the survivor testimonials. These segments are not required to pass the assessment.
