Are complaints against OCTs ever resolved without a hearing?
Yes. Most complaints are addressed by the College’s Investigation Committee (the committee that screens all complaints made to the College), either through the voluntary complaint resolution program or after an investigation is completed, without a hearing. Only matters referred to the College’s Discipline Committee or Fitness to Practise Committee proceed by way of a hearing.
