Is the Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) informed that an application has been made for funding?

The College respects the sensitivity of these matters and follows high standards to keep applications and information as secure and confidential as possible. The OCT will not be told about your funding application, except in cases where the College seeks reimbursement of fees from the OCT as part of their Disciplinary Committee hearing.

However, if you have made an allegation against the OCT in the form of a complaint, they will be informed of the complaint and will have 60 days to respond. Complaints are a separate process from the College’s therapy funding program.
