What is the Therapy and Counselling Program?

The College began funding the therapy and counselling of students alleging sexual abuse or an act of child pornography or a prescribed sexual act against an Ontario Certified Teacher on January 1, 2020. You can claim approximately $18,000. This is equivalent to what the Ontario Health Insurance Plan would pay for 200 half-hour sessions of individual out-patient psychotherapy with a psychiatrist.
