How do I change my status to retired on the College's public registry?
If you have retired and do not intend to teach in Ontario’s publicly funded schools, your membership status will automatically change to Inactive/Non-Practising if your annual membership fee (AMF) is not paid by the deadline. As such, you do not need to notify the College about your retirement.
However, if you intend to continue teaching in any capacity, you are required to maintain your membership in Good Standing and pay the annual fee, which is due January 1 of every year.
