Does the College recognize teacher education programs taken online?
We will recognize your initial teacher education program completed via distance education provided:
- the program included a face-to-face practicum that meets our current requirement of a minimum of 80 days, or,
- if you have had one year of teaching experience subsequent to your teacher education program, while you were certified in the jurisdiction.
To be eligible for certification, you will have to meet the academic and language proficiency requirements for certification.
