I applied as an internationally educated teacher but I am now enrolled in an Ontario program of professional education. Can I request a Transitional Certificate?

Yes. Eligible candidates may request to change their application to Ontario and a Transitional Certificate. In this case, any teacher education program completed outside Ontario will not be considered towards meeting the professional requirement. The College will continue to require official documents required to meet academic and professional suitability requirements.
