Would it better serve the public interest if all my credentials are listed on the public register?
No. The public register is not meant to be an exhaustive list of your academic and professional accomplishments.
The purpose of our public register is to:
- list members’ names
- identify whether they are an Ontario Certified Teacher
- list their academic and teaching qualifications
- provide information on their certificate status
- verify whether there are any terms, limitations and conditions on their certificate
In the case of teachers of technological education subjects, their technological industry work experience and competency that was needed to hold the technological qualification awarded are also provided.
